I JUST CAN’T TAKE IT ANYMORE!!!!! I’m so sick of the media blowing up crap about McCain/Palin and putting Obama on a pedistal.
I was watching a show where they went on and on about the money Palin is spending on her wardrobe. In the next segment they show a story about how poor Obama had to endure such pain during his childhood for being multi-racial. Poor guy… On another show (an entertainment show) the host was trying to discredit McCain’s point that small businesses would be affected by Obama’s tax plan by asking snidely, “how much would one have to make to gross $250 thousand dollars?” Ummmmmmmm. I’m no CPA, but isn’t the answer to that $250,000????? I’m sorry, but some of Obama’s public supporters are just plain (dare I say it?) stupid! Not at all saying that they aren’t out there for McCain, but you just don’t see ‘em – at least I haven’t.
What they don’t mention about Obama is the BILLIONS of dollars he is spending on his campain. What, it’s okay for HIM to spend outlandishly, but not for others???? Why is Palin being picked apart and NO ONE shows any of Bidin’s blunders. He says Obama is about one three-letter word: “jobs…j-o-b-s” WTF???? And why is it that all of a sudden the qualifications of a vice president so important. Did anyone ever question Dan Quale????
Does it really impact anything that Colin Powell endorses Obama when he is guaranteed a position in the White House??? Maybe it does, but should it?? Not to mention that he endorsed and campained for John Kerry. That in itself discredits that endorsement for me. Anything Powell says about the McCain campain means nothing to me – it’s tainted.
I know nothing I say here is going to change anyone’s point of veiw or ideology, but I just can’t hold my tongue any longer. I hate the whole political process. I hate the negative adds from both parties. I hate the lies that I have to endure because I don’t have a DVR. Just get this over with and let us move on. It’s causing me too much anxiety!!!!! My only outlet is watching Little House on the Prarie. It reminds me that there were much simpler times where people worked hard for a living and they took nothing for granted and didn’t expect charity.
I had another one of my brilliant ideas (yes, that may be a matter of opinion)…a New Year’s Get Together! Who’s in? I sent a text to a few people but didn’t have numbers for everyone so I thought I would get to the masses here.
Working at a university, I get to see and hear all kinds of funny (and sometimes not so funny) things that college kids come up with. One of our student employees shared this YouTube video with me…it is hilarious!
I have been away for a while, but i just had to say this. If I hear someone else say they are voting for Obama because he brings “hope” I think I am going to F’ing puke. I have yet to hear any Obama supporter say anything with any substance regarding why they are voting for him.
I am waiting to hear someone say they are voting for him because of his stance or policies on ANYTHING. They say absolutely nothing. If you are going to vote for someone at least know why the hell you are voting for them, dont just do it because he gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling inside.
Is it wrong to use your cell phone while you are on the toilet? I mean your not doing anything but sitting there, might as well be productive. If your like me and like to sit and contemplate life and what not then I say use the cell phone! Who is going to know except the poor guy sitting next to you who thinks you are talking to him.
